Midjourney

Midjourney creates images from written prompts and image references, with tools for developing a visual direction and turning an image into a video. Its browser workspace supports image uploads, style references, variations and editing, so using Discord is optional. Designers and creators can use it to explore illustration, campaign and concept ideas before choosing assets to refine.

The subscription comparison lists Basic at $10, Standard at $30, Pro at $60 and Mega at $120 per month with monthly billing. Annual subscriptions cost $96, $288, $576 and $1,152 respectively, paid upfront. Plans include different amounts of Fast GPU time. Standard and higher add unlimited image generation in Relax mode; this does not mean unlimited generation at the fastest speed. Commercial use follows Midjourney’s terms, including a Pro or Mega requirement for companies with more than $1 million in annual gross revenue.

Privacy affects plan choice. Midjourney is public by default, including creations made through Discord direct messages. Stealth mode is available only on Pro and Mega and hides creations from other users on Midjourney’s website. It does not hide work posted in a shared Discord channel; use a private creation space as well when confidentiality matters.

There is no current free trial on the main website or Discord. Budget for a paid subscription and check GPU allowances against the number of iterations you expect to make. Review generated details and usage terms before delivering a finished asset.
