Email & Newsletter Policy

This Policy describes the commercial and transactional email Emrich Enterprises LLC, operator of AIDiveForge, sends through its self-hosted mail stack and the Listmonk newsletter platform — and how you can manage what you receive. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Scope and Types of Communications

We send two distinct categories of email:

• 1.1 Commercial Communications. The editorial newsletter can include tool listings, workflow packs, skills, community highlights, affiliate links, and labeled Sponsored blocks. We aim for a weekly edition; timing and frequency can vary.
• 1.2 Transactional Communications. Necessary service messages include verification emails, password resets, security alerts, submission decisions, and order or refund notices. Newsletter opt-out does not stop these messages. Optional notifications can be managed where account controls are available.

2. Subscription and Account Enrollment

The current enrollment routes are:

• Submitting your email address through the newsletter signup form displayed on the Service; or
• Leaving the newsletter checkbox checked where it is shown during account registration (it is checked by default; uncheck it to skip); or
• Creating a new account through a social sign-in flow that currently enrolls the account email address.

Dedicated signup forms currently use immediate enrollment, rather than requiring a confirmation-email click. Where a registration form offers the newsletter checkbox, unchecking it skips that enrollment. You can opt out separately from your account at /unsubscribe/. A preselected checkbox or account creation alone does not establish affirmative marketing consent where local law requires it; see Sections 8 and 9.

3. Unsubscribing

You may withdraw consent to receive commercial communications at any time, without cost or consequence, by:

• Clicking the Unsubscribe button in the footer of any commercial email;
• Using an unsubscribe control supplied by your email provider when it is available;
• Visiting aidiveforge.com/unsubscribe and entering your email — no login, takes effect immediately;
• Unchecking the weekly newsletter box in account settings (if you have an account); or
• Emailing [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject line "Unsubscribe."

The web opt-out records your suppression request when accepted. An email already queued or in transit may still arrive. We keep a suppression record so the address is not added back unintentionally. Email requests are handled as promptly as possible and within applicable legal deadlines; under CAN-SPAM, no later than ten business days. Contact us if commercial email continues after an opt-out.

4. Email Analytics

Depending on campaign settings, email can contain an open-tracking image or measured links. Requests for those resources can include a message or subscription identifier, timestamp, IP address, and browser or email-client information. Reports may summarize totals, but that does not make the underlying records anonymous. Image caching and email privacy features can make open counts inaccurate.

Blocking remote images can reduce open measurement; it does not prevent a measured link from being recorded when you follow it. Website Cookie settings do not control tracking inside an email client. You can unsubscribe or contact [email protected] about email measurement and related records.

5. Affiliate Links in Commercial Email

Commercial emails may include affiliate links. Affiliate links are identified within the message consistent with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and our Affiliate Disclosure. You do not pay more by using our affiliate links, and our editorial selection is not influenced by affiliate relationships.

6. Data Handling

Newsletter delivery uses self-hosted Listmonk. WordPress also holds subscription preferences, some historical subscriber records, and suppression records. Our mail infrastructure handles delivery. Records can include an email address, subscription status, timestamps, source, and, for some forms or requests, IP address and browser information. Unsubscribing stops commercial delivery; it does not automatically erase every historical or suppression record.

We do not:

• Sell, rent, trade, or lease subscriber email addresses;
• Use subscriber addresses for any purpose other than operating the newsletter and related service communications; or
• Give sponsors our subscriber list. A labeled Sponsored block can appear in a newsletter we send.

7. Commercial Email Requirements

The CAN-SPAM Act requires commercial messages to use accurate sender information and subject lines, identify advertising where required, include a valid physical postal address, and provide a working no-cost opt-out. Our commercial messages must meet those requirements:

• Identify AIDiveForge and Emrich Enterprises LLC accurately as the sender;
• Use a subject line that accurately describes the message;
• Identify advertising where required;
• Include a valid physical postal address, rather than only a state or country; and
• Provide a functional unsubscribe route and honor opt-outs within applicable deadlines.

8. GDPR and UK GDPR

Where applicable law requires consent for marketing, that consent must be a valid affirmative opt-in. Creating an account or leaving a preselected box checked does not by itself establish that consent. You can withdraw consent using Section 3 without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Subscription is not itself consent to a restricted international data transfer; see our Privacy Policy.

9. Canada (CASL) and Other Jurisdictions

Canadian commercial email is subject to Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, including applicable consent, sender-identification, and unsubscribe requirements. The account enrollment routes in Section 2 do not remove those requirements. You can use the opt-out routes in Section 3 regardless of where you live, and any additional rights under local law still apply.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Policy with an updated Effective Date and, where appropriate, by direct notice.
