Email & Newsletter Policy
This Policy describes the commercial and transactional email Emrich Enterprises LLC, operator of AIDiveForge, sends through its self-hosted mail stack and the Listmonk newsletter platform — and how you can manage what you receive. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- The newsletter is opt-in only. We use double opt-in: you confirm via a link before we add you.
- Every commercial email has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer and a working
List-Unsubscribeheader. - Transactional email (login codes, moderation decisions) isn't subject to unsubscribe — you can't stop those without closing your account.
- We use Listmonk (self-hosted) for the newsletter and our own Postfix/Dovecot stack for transactional. No third-party ESP processes the message body.
1. Scope and Types of Communications
We send two distinct categories of email:
- 1.1 Commercial Communications. Our weekly editorial newsletter, distributed each Monday at 09:00 UTC to subscribers who have affirmatively opted in. Each edition may include newly published tool listings, workflow packs, community highlights, and editorial commentary.
- 1.2 Transactional Communications. Service-related messages triggered by your interaction with the Service, including account-verification emails, password-reset notices, content-moderation decisions, and security alerts. Transactional messages are sent on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating the Service and are not subject to unsubscribe.
2. Consent and Subscription
Subscription to our newsletter is always opt-in. You may subscribe by:
- Submitting your email address through the newsletter signup form displayed on the Service; or
- Affirmatively selecting the newsletter-subscription checkbox during account registration.
Creating an account does not, by itself, enroll you in the newsletter. We do not import, rent, purchase, or otherwise obtain email addresses from third parties, and we do not enroll individuals on the basis of business-card exchanges, conference lists, or scraped sources.
3. Unsubscribing
You may withdraw consent to receive commercial communications at any time, without cost or consequence, by:
- Clicking the one-click unsubscribe link located at the footer of every commercial email;
- Adjusting your notification preferences within your account settings (if you have an account); or
- Emailing support@aidiveforge.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe."
Opt-outs submitted via the one-click mechanism take effect immediately. Email requests are honored within two (2) business days, and in any event within the ten (10) business-day window required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
4. Email Analytics
To assess aggregate performance, our commercial emails include a standard 1×1 pixel beacon that records, in aggregate, the total number of opens and the total number of clicks on each linked URL. We do not:
- Record the identity of individual recipients who open or click;
- Collect geolocation information beyond country-level aggregates inferred from server logs;
- Retain device or email-client fingerprints; or
- Track forwards, replies, or downstream interactions with the message.
You may suppress the open-tracking beacon by disabling remote image loading in your email client.
5. Affiliate Links in Commercial Email
Commercial emails may include affiliate links. Affiliate links are identified within the message consistent with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and our Affiliate Disclosure. You do not pay more by using our affiliate links, and our editorial selection is not influenced by affiliate relationships.
6. Data Handling
Subscriber email addresses are stored in our self-hosted WordPress database. Outbound mail is delivered through our own Postfix mail transfer agent with DKIM signing. We do not use Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Klaviyo, Substack, or any other third-party email-service provider. We do not:
- Sell, rent, trade, or lease subscriber email addresses;
- Use subscriber addresses for any purpose other than operating the newsletter and related service communications; or
- Permit advertisers or sponsors to broadcast messages to our subscribers on their own behalf.
7. CAN-SPAM Act Compliance
In accordance with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.), each commercial email we send:
- Accurately identifies Emrich Enterprises LLC as the sender in the "From," "To," and "Reply-To" fields and routing information;
- Uses a subject line that accurately describes the contents of the message;
- Is clearly identified as an advertisement where required;
- Includes the valid physical postal address of Emrich Enterprises LLC (the registered office of the Montana LLC); and
- Includes a functional, no-cost mechanism to opt out of future commercial email, as well as a
List-Unsubscribeheader supporting one-click unsubscribe per RFC 8058.
8. GDPR and UK GDPR
For subscribers located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process email-subscription data on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time using the mechanisms described in Section 3, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Our mail infrastructure is hosted in the United States; by subscribing, you acknowledge this international transfer. We rely on appropriate safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Canada (CASL) and Other Jurisdictions
For subscribers located in Canada, the Service complies with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (S.C. 2010, c. 23). We maintain records of express consent, provide sender identification, and honor unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days. Subscribers located in jurisdictions not expressly addressed herein are protected by the same opt-out rights described above.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Service or to applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Policy with an updated Effective Date and, where appropriate, by direct notice.
